If you haven't checked out the new hair yet here's your chance to get a good look, yes it's all gone!
As you can see from the photos and videos, we had a great time recording at BBC Maida Vale last week for the Jamie Cullum BBC Radio 2 show.
It's due to air on Tuesday 13th December between 7PM - 8PM, don't worry if you can't tune in then as you'll also be able to catch it on BBC iPlayer.
Recording some of the music for our Christmas gigs has made us really excited about playing with Jason Marsalis and Myrna Hague. If you still haven't bought a ticket you can book your London seats here and your Southampton seats here.
We hope to see you there!
Yesterday a guy called Bob Shingleton got in touch to tell us about his blog On An Overgrown Path.
On the 80th anniversary of Philippa Schuyler's birth this August he published a profile of her together with specially made recordings of her early piano music and an analysis by the Grammy winning conductor John McLaughlin Williams.
He even wrote a piece about Abram's own Philippa project, which was performed earlier this year at the Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho and Spice of Life. The Abram Wilson Quartet are going to tour and record it next year.
As a result of his blog BBC Radio 3 is broadcasting a 20 minute profile of Philippa at 8.25pm TONIGHT (Oct 14).
Hope you can check it out.
Yesterday I did a radio appearance on the Tom Mallow radio show to promote the Life Paintings and Singing Pictures performace on Saturday, May 21st at Kings Place. We spoke about the performance as well as a host of other topics ranging from acting, theatre, and politics. I had great time conversing on such a diverse range of topics. You can check it out on soundcloud later this week! In the meantime book your tickets for Kings Place here:http://bit.ly/fPkIDR
